Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan accompanies Indonesian President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to survey pelican crossing at Bundaran HI, Jl. MH Thamrin, Central Jakarta.

After testing the pelican crossing, Jokowi stated, pelican crossing is a crossing facility that allows people to cross the road without climbing high ladders like we used JPO.
"I am personally see that JPO is aesthetically quite disturbing the view," he expressed, Thursday (8/2).
Meanwhile, Anies Baswedan affirmed, pelican crossing is a friendly facility to be used by pregnant mothers, people with disability and elderly.
"I also
invite my mother (Aliyah Rasyid Baswedan) to see and try crossing the road by using pelican crossing," he added.
